WORLDS 2026 FAQ
The confirmed facts, the details still pending, and where to find the official word.
When does LoL Worlds 2026 begin?
Worlds begins October 15, 2026, with the Play-In Stage at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles.
When is the Grand Final?
The Grand Final is scheduled for November 14, 2026, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Where is Worlds 2026 being held?
The tournament visits Los Angeles, California; Allen, Texas; and Brooklyn, New York.
What time does Worlds begin?
Riot has announced the dates but not a complete broadcast-time schedule. The homepage currently counts down to the start of the confirmed calendar date in the host city and labels this clearly.
How many teams will compete?
Riot's March 2026 update lists 19 qualifying teams. Final team identities depend on regional results and international qualification.
Does the countdown show the first match time?
Not yet. Until Riot publishes the relevant broadcast time, the timer counts down to midnight on the confirmed date in the host city. The label beside the clock always identifies this as a date-only target.
Why can the countdown change?
The remaining time naturally changes every second, but the target itself changes only when an official announcement provides a more precise start time or revises the schedule. Nexus Clock does not adjust the target from rumors or predicted match times.
Where can I watch?
Use the official LoL Esports website for match schedules and authorized broadcast links. Nexus Clock does not host match video.
Is Nexus Clock an official Riot website?
No. Nexus Clock is an independent fan-made countdown and information site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games.
